In Irish lore, a Woodkern is an elusive, often mischievous forest denizen, accustomed to looking for trouble in all the right places. The goal the Woodkern website is to explore and delve into an eclectic variety of topics that may be of interest to inquisitive minds, if any remain.

I’ve spent years upon years trying to figure out all kinds of things and realize, at last, that the more I learn, the less I know for certain. This may offer no comfort whatsoever to anyone else, similarly engaged, but who cares. Drive on!

I envision discussing a range of topics including: Travel, Social Psychology, Ismology, History and Sociology. And somehow, I hope to tie these subjects together in some kind of meaningful way. This may entail adding some biographical backgrounders as needed.
